What is Eco-Schools?
Most young people care deeply about environmental issues, and wish to make a positive change in the environment around them. The Eco-Schools programme provides an ideal way for fostering environmental awareness in the entire school in a way that links to many curriculum subjects.
What's happening this year?
This year we are in the process of renewing our Green Flag Award, the Eco-Schools highest award, which takes the form of a Green Flag. This can be seen flown outside school.
The Eco-Schools Programme is focused around ten key environmental topics. The topics we are focusing on this year are; Biodiversity, Outdoor learning & Climate Action.
